CURRICULUM &
SKILL DEVELOPMENT
Our School follows the TN State Govt Matriculation syllabus which has been updated in the year 2018. Additionally students from Std 1 to Standard 9 are taught 2 additional subjects Computer Science/IT and Moral Education.
To develop the creative talent among children a trained Arts teachers are part of the school and time is allotted for Arts and Craft in every class.
Spoken English is a skill which every student needs to have develop. Our school uses a Multi-Intelligence Phonics curriculum from LKG to Std. From Std 2-9 spoken- English is taught in the classes as a skill development subject.
For Std 10,11 and 12 , special classes are conducted every day for 1 hr in the evening to coach slow learners and achievers to improve their academic scores in the Govt Exam.
Extra Curricular
Our School believes that "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy". We conduct class competitions to nurture English and Tamil proficiency by conducting , Debates and Extempore. Science and English exhibitions are also a periodic activity to develop the scientific temper in our children.
Sports is a very vital part of school life. Our school has a spacious campus and give adequate importance to all Sport activities both indoor and Outdoor. Our Children are encouraged to play Volley Ball, Throw ball, Kho kho, Kabadi, Chess, Carom, Badminton & Table Tennis.
The newly developed Turf adjacent to the school is used by students to play Cricket and Futsal during and after school hours.
Periodic Class and Interclass tournaments are conducted twice every in our school to develop the spirit of Sportsmanship
The school also develops the singing and musical talent in students . A dedicated music teacher coaches interested students who perform in the school assembly and in all other school functions.
